For our twenty second monthly flourishing business community speaker series: stories from the field, the community is delighted to welcome Kateřina Lorencová and Magdalena Prunerova from MgCgroup, based in the Czech Republic.

The Flourishing Enterprise Co-lab is grateful to the support of Social Innovation at Georgian College to put on our speaker series. 

Kateřina has international experience in European projects and grants as well as in the startup scene. She possesses a long-term interest in sustainability and ESG concepts and importance of their implementation in companies. Currently her consulting work focuses on the analysis of product’s carbon footprints.  She is also co-author of the translation of the Flourishing Business Canvas to the Czech environment.

Magdalena has many years of experience in the field of management, project management, development and implementation of trends in adult education. She is also a researcher at the Department of Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences, the founder of the R&D Center at MgC Group and helps companies implement ESG strategy/concept with respect to the primary focus of the company.

MgCgroup are co-creators of trends and initiators of inspiring methods in the field of strategic HR and education. We have been active in the education market for over 15 years. We are an experienced partner for corporate education, personal development, and the implementation of innovative methodologies and solutions. We have our own R&D center. We focus on education that is applicable and directly connected to everyday practice. Our team consists of consultants, lecturers, mentors, coaches, therapists, as well as experts across various fields. This allows us to find the optimal solutions for each of our clients.

Together, Kateřina and Magdalena are dedicated to expanding the use of the Flourishing Business Canvas concept and tool in the Czech Republic, not only in the corporate environment, but education at various levels too. Through online and offline activities, they work with different target audiences using the Canvas, they try to facilitate the complexity of sustainability and its context, promote its relevance in the current market and highlight the benefits that using this business model can bring.

During their talk Kateřina and Magdalena will highlight:

• Different groups of users in the Czech environment
• What works for us to get people interested in the topic
• What challenges are related to the new narrative and its translation
• Different types of events and environments to use the Canvas
• What does MgCgroup hope to gain from participating in the Flourishing Business Community?
• What can MgCgroup offer to the community?

At the end of their talk Kateřina and Magdalena will take questions from members of the community.
