I have a management background (degrees from University of Cologne and CEMS Master in International Management). So far, I have spent all my professional career in corporate sustainability. After graduation, I was able to contribute to a research project at University of Oxford which anlysed the strategic impact of climate change on the German economy. Based on the findings, we developed a ‘climate strategy’ for one of the largest industrial sites in Germany.

This started my career as consultant, with ‘pioneer projects’ that that time around carbon footprint calculation, sustainability strategies and business design including sustainability, primarily in the utilities and chemical industry.

After a few years of working as a consultant, I joined a new agency that was created by the European Union called Climate-KIC. The function of Climate-KIC is to foster innovation capabilities in Europe to tackle climate change. Throughout the years there, I was involved in many different projects at the interface between industry, research and politics. The last years, I was responsible for the professional and executive training offerings, covering a range of programms and courses for startups, companies and city authritues in the fields of systems innovation, transformative leadership, sustainable business design and entrepreneurship as well as circular economy.

In 2021, I joined Endure Consulting and now focus on supporting manufacturing companies on their ‘sustainable transformation pathway’.

The City of Cologne in Germany, which is more than 2000 years old, has roots in both Roman and Germanic culture and history. The parents of my father originally came from ‘East Prussia’, a region that is Poland today. My mothers parents come ‘Swabians’ from the Black Forest.
