For our fourth new monthly flourishing business community speaker series: stories from the field, the community is delighted to welcome Simon Robinson from Holonomics.

Simon Robinson and Maria Moraes Robison, the co-founders of Holonomics, are co-authors of three book: Holonomics Business Where People and Planet Matter, Customer Experiences with Soul, and Deep Tech and the Amplified Organization: In these books Simon and Maria Robinson make a call to transform the entire way business thinks and operates in the world to create a more sustainable and meaningful future, where the well-being of people, the environment and society as a whole are prioritized.

In short, Simon and Maria are on a journey to explore how to help organizations transform so that all their stakeholders, and the whole of society experiences the possibility for flourishing!

In 2017 they introduced the Flourishing Business Canvas, The IFF’s Three Horizons Model and the FutureFit Business Benchmark into their transformation work in Brazil. The Holonomics transformation approach enables organizations to structure, execute and manage strategy systemically, by aligning people, projects, initiatives and objectives with an organization’s purpose, business models and value co-creations. Organizational transformation then emerges from the application of the Holonomics principles to create inspiring new business models and practices that bring into organizations a new awareness and that enable new ways of seeing. This elevates their customers’ value co-creations and enables the development of future-fit business models, products and services. To achieve these results Holonomics integrated the Flourishing Business Canvas into their transformation approach, partnering with clients from many different industries in creative ways to achieve deep impact and sustainable results.

In his talk Simon will focus on his experiences using the Flourishing Business Canvas as a crucial tool in the process of holistic strategy development to help his clients realize the possibility for flourishing. He will discuss:

  • In what strategy development situations is the Flourishing Business Canvas most useful and why?
  • Can the Canvas can only be used by companies that already believe in sustainable flourishing?
  • How do clients feel when the Canvas is used in the development of their strategy?
  • How is the Canvas used in practice with clients?
  • Where do clients get the most stuck when using the Canvas?
  • What do clients gain when using the Canvas?
  • What does Holonomics hope to gain from participating in the Flourishing Business Community?
  • What can Holonomics offer to the community?

At the end of his talk Simon will take questions from members of the community.

After the event a video of the talk plus any slides will be shared in the “Speaker Series” space of the Flourishing Business Community. Please join other flourishing business leaders and become a full member to access.
